Food Safety Web strives to provide access to information and resources about food safety in one convenient place, so that those who are helping to protect the food supply can proceed with that important work.

While some of our resources appear on this Web site, we also provide and maintain food safety resources on other Web sites. In addition to building and maintaining Web sites, we also develop interactive database and web applications, design and implement virtual communities and manage listserves. Cindy Roberts is the principal owner of Food Safety Web Specialists, which publishes Food Safety Web. Cindy spent 15 years working as an Information Specialist at the National Agricultural Library, the last 11 of those as the Coordinator of the USDA/FDA Foodborne Illness Education Information Center. She is a frequent speaker on the topic of food safety resources, and is the author of the Food Safety Information Handbook.
